day of last march to be free on the twenty fourth day of
December eighteen hundred and thirty and the issue of
the aforesaid females (Lucy and Sarah if any) and the
issue of such issue shall be free at the age of thirty
one years hereby declaring and acknowledging the
aforesaid negroes above named to be free and forever discharged
from all claim of service right or property whatsoever from me
or any claiming under me my heirs executors administrators
and assigns from and after the expiration of the terms above
specified and the issue of the aforesaid females if any and
the issue of such issue be free at the age of thirty one years as
specified in the aforegoing manumission,  In testimony whereof
I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this
nineteenth day of July one thousand eighteen hundred and
eight

on the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
State of Maryland anne arundel county to wit on the
nineteenth day of July one thousand eight hundred and
eight personally appeared before me the subscriber one
of the Justices of the peace for the county aforesaid
Augustin Sewell party to the within instrument of writing
who acknowledged the same to be his act and deed
according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the
act of assembly in such case made and provided

all whom it may concern be it known that for divers
good causes me thereunto moving.  I Leonard Mallonee
of the county and state aforesaid do hereby manumit
and declare free agreeably to the terms herein after specified
to wit my negro man Tom aged about thirty nine years
of the county and state aforesaid do hereby manumit
