352 my negro woman Cassy from the date of these presence she being now of the age of thirty four years and able to work and gain a sufficient livehood and maintainance and her the said negro woman Cassy I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my executors or administrators forever. in Testamony whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this 21 day of May 1816 Test John Merriken (seal) Henry H.
