329 To all whom it may concern Be it Known that I Stephen Boone of Anne Arundel County in the State of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving do hereby agree to be released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumitt and set free my negro girl named Ann aged 10 years to be free at the age of eighteen years which will be on the 9.th day of February 1824 and her the said Ann I do declare to be at the time specified free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my executors or administrators forever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this seventeenth day of November in the year of our Lord 1815 Signed Sealed and delivered in Stephen Boone (seal) presence of James MacKubin J.r John Merriken On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit: Anne Arundel County to wit: On the 17.th day of November 1815 personally appeared Stephen Boone party to the above instrument of writing before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland for the said County and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed for the purposes above mentioned and the negro girl above specified manumitted and discharged from all services to him or to any claiming under him and to be free and manumitted according to the act of Assembly in such cases made and provided.
