make Known by these presents that all negroes
and slaves that I do own or have any claim to
are hereby manumitted and set free the males
who are of or may arrive to the age of twenty one
years and the females who are of or may arrive
to the age above particularly described.  In
Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this sixth day of the fourth month 1815

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
Ann Arundel County ss.  On the sixth day of April
1815 personally appeared before me the subscriber
one of the Justices of the peace for the County
afores.d the above named John Chew Thomas and
acknowledged the within instrument of writing
to be his act and deed according to the true intent
and meaning thereof and according to the act of
Assembly in this case made and provided

To all whom it may concern  Be it Known that
I Martha Robosson of Anne Arundel County in
the State of Maryland for divers good causes and
considerations me thereunto moveing have released
from slavery liberated manumitted and set free
and by these presents do hereby release from
slavery liberate manumit and set free the
