302 the said boy Henry is now given to Ruth Martins daughter Rebecca Martin to serve the said Rebecca Martin her heirs or assigns untill he the said Henry arrives to the age of twenty seven years and at that time the said Henry is hereby declared to be liberated and free from the said Rebecca Martin her heirs and assigns and from all other persons claiming to all intents and purposes. And in order that the time may be Known when the said mulatto Henry shall be free I here insert that the said Henry was born on the twenty fourth day of January in the year eighteen hundred and fourteen. And I also by these presents liberate and set free from slavery my negro girl called Fanny in maner following that is to say the said negro Fanny is now given to Nancy Hammond daughter of Charles Hammond to serve the said Nancy Hammond her heirs or assigns untill the said negro Fanny arrives to the age of twenty seven years at which time she is hereby declared to be free from the said Nancy Hammond and all other persons claiming to all intents and purposes from that time henceforth and forever and in order that the time may be Known when the said negro Fanny shall be free I here insert that the said negro Fanny was born on the eighteenth day of June in the year eighteen hundred and eleven In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this tenth day of April in the year eighteen hundred and fifteen Witness Thomas Hood John Cord (seal) Kitty Hood On |
