George to him the said Samuel Burgess his executors
administrators or assigns for and during the
term of eight years from the first day of January
eighteen hundred and fourteen to be fully ended
and determined and I the said Walter Wyvill
for myself my heirs executors and administrators
the aforesaid negro man to him the said
Samuel Burgess his executors administrators
and assigns for and during the term of eight
years as aforesaid against me the said Walter
Wyvill my executors and administrators and
against all persons claiming the same by from
or under me shall and will warrant and
forever defend by these presents of which said
negro man I the said Walter Wyvill have
put the said Samuel Burgess in full possession
by delivering to him the said Samuel Burgess
the said negro man George at the sealing and
delivery of these presents.  And I the said Walter
Wyvill for divers good and sufficient
considerations me thereunto moving as also
in further consideration of ten dollars current
money to me in hand paid have released
from slavery liberated manumitted and set
free and by these presents do liberate
manumit set free and release from slavery
him the said negro man George from and
after the end and determination of the aforesaid
term of eight years and him the said negro
man named George I do hereby declare to
be free manumitted and discharged from all
manner of servitude or service to me my
executors or administrators and to him the
