    On the back of the aforegoing was thus written
to wit:
Anne Arundel County To wit:
On this 8th day of march 1814 personally
appears Mary Robosson party to
the within instrument of writing
before me a Justice of the peace
for the state of maryland and the
County aforesaid and acknowledges
the same to be her act and deed
for the purposes within mentioned
and the negro man within named
to be henceforth manumitted and
discharged from all service
to me or any person claiming
under me and to be free &
manumitted after the within
mentioned sixth day of April
according to the act of assembly
in such case made and provided
acknowledged before Ch.s waters
