252 of Maryland for the said County and acknowledges the same to be his act and deed for the purpose within mentioned and the negro girl Henny and her increase within named to be henceforth manumitted and discharged from all services to him or to any claiming under him and to be free and manumited after the above named term or terms expires Taken and acknowledged before Ex.d d.d Ch.s Waters paid And Warfield 3 Recorded the 25.th day of February 1814 To all whom it may concern Be it Known that I John Brice Sen.r of the City of Annapolis in the State of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of one dollar current money to me in hand paid have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negro boy named Robert Frost being of the age of fourteen years and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance and him the said negro boy Robert Frost I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my executors or administrators forever.
