251 To all whom it may concern be it Known that I Frederick P Jones of Anne Arundel County and State of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of fifty cents current money to me in hand paid have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negro girl named Henny aged twelve years in June one thousand eight hundred and fourteen to be free at thirty years of age and her increase forever the males to be free at twenty five years of age and the females at twenty one years of age. And I do hereby declare the above named girl to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me my executors or administrators forever after the above named term expires. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this fifth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fourteen Signed Sealed and delivered Frederick P Jones (seal) in presence of Ch.s Waters Nicholas Swornstedt On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit Anne Arundel County to wit: On this fifth day of February one thousand eight hundred and fourteen personally appears Frederick P.
