twentithird day of September in the year of Lord one
thousand eight hundred and thirteen
Signed Sealed and delivered        Susanna Harrison   (seal)

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit:
Received on the day of the date within mentioned
the sum of one dollar current money it being in
full for the consideration money within mentioned
Test   John W Thomas                  Susanna Harrison
             John Johns

Anne Arundel County to wit:  On this twentithird
day of September one thousand eight hundred and
thirteen personally appears Susanna Harrison
party to the within instrument of writing before
me a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland
for the County aforesaid and acknowledges the
same to be her act and deed for the purposes
within mentioned and the mulatto girl within
named at the time as within mentioned to be
manumitted and discharged from all services
to her or to any claiming under her and to be
free and manumitted according to the act of
assembly in such cases made and provided

3½      Recorded the 3.d day of December 1813


Know all men by these that I John Cowman of
Ann Arundell County and State of Maryland do
hereby set free from bondage my negro boy named
