me my executors or administrators or assigns
forever.   In Testimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal
this twentieth day of July in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and twelve
Signed Sealed and delivered
in the presence of                     Hail Wyvill   (seal)

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
Received on the day of the date within
mentioned the sum of three dollars current
money it being the full consideration money
within mentioned
Joseph Sands                     Hail Wyvill   (seal)

Anne Arundel County to wit:  On this
twentieth day of July personally appears
Hail Wyvill party to the within instrument
of writing before me the subscriber a Justice
of the peace for the State of Maryland for
the said County and acknowledges the same
to be his act and deed for the purposes
within mentioned and the negroes man
and girl within named to be from the
ages therein mentioned henceforth
manumitted and discharged from all service
to him or to any claiming under him and
to be free and manumitted according to the
act of Assembly in such cases made and
provided.      acknowledged before
