187 free and discharged (at the time within mentioned) from all servitude or service to him or to any person or persons claiming under him and to be free and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such cases provided and made Acknowledged before paid Benj.a Allein 3 Recorded the 29 day of June 1812 To all whom it may concern Be it Known that I Hail Wyvill of Anne Arundel County in the State of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving as also in further consideration of three dollars current money to me in hand paid have released from slavery liberated manumitted and set free and by these presents do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my negro man named Richard or Dick when he arrives at the age of twenty three being now of the age of twenty years and my negro girl named Jane when she arrives at the age of twenty one being now of the age of twelve years and able to work and gain a sufficient livelihood and maintenance and him the said negro man named Richard or Dick and she the said girl named Jane I do declare after they arrive at the ages above mentioned to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or service to me |
