140. presents do hereby releas from slavery at my death liberate manumit and set free my negro man named Dick being of the age of thirty seven years and abel to work and again a sufficient livelihood and maintenance and him the said negro man named Dick I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of servitude or servis to me at my death my executors or administrators forever. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this twelfth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten Signed sealed and Nich.s Norman (seal) delivered in the presants of us Thomas Sellman Samuel Norman On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit Received on the day of the date within mention the sum of two hundred dollars it being the full consideration money within mention Witness Thomas Sellman Nicholas Norman (seal) Samuel Norman Anne Arundel County sc.
