my hand and affixed my seal this twelfth day
of January in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and eleven                 his

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
Anne Arundel County scilicet
Be it remembered that on this      day of
personally appears Charles Wallace party to the
within instrument of writing before me the
subscriber a justice of the peace of the state of
maryland for the said County and acknowledges
the same to be his act and deed for the purposes
within mentioned and the negro woman within
named to be henceforth manumitted and discharged
from all services to him or to any claiming under
him and to be free and manumitted according
to the act of assembly in such cases made and
provided
