14 to wit my negro woman named Hannah aged about twenty five years to be free on the twelfth day of September one thousand eight hundred and nine likewise her two children Elisha and Kitty Elisha aged five years on the seventeenth day of april last to be free on the seventeenth day of april one thousand eight hundred and twenty nine and Kitty aged two years on the sixteenth day of october next to be free on the sixteenth day of october one thousand eight hundred and thirty two and the issue of the aforesaid females (if any) born after the date of these presents and the issue of such issue shall be fee at the age of twenty seven years hereby declaring and acknowledging the said negroes as aforesaid named free and discharged forever from all claim of service right or property whatsoever from me or any claiming under me my heirs executors administrators or assigns from and after the days and dates abovementioned and the issue of the aforesaid females (if any) born after the date of these presents and the issue of such issue to be free at the age of twenty seven years as specified in the foregoing manumission: In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this eighth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seven Signed sealed & delivered in the presence of Augustine Sewell Elizabeth Pitts (Seal) Tho.s Furlong |
