129. Know all men by these presents that I George Dorsey of Anne Arundel County and State of Maryland believing that natural Freedom is the right of all men do hereby set free and manumit the following negroes and their issue at the respective periods of time and in the manner following to wit Negroe Peter aged about forty three years to be free in eight months from the date hereof negroe Rezin aged about eighteen years to be free in seven years from the date hereof negroe Joseph aged about fourteen years to be free in eleven years to be free in eleven years from the date hereof negroe Nicholas aged about fourteen years to be free in eleven years from the date hereof negroe Cas aged about fifteen years to be free in six years from the date hereof negroe Nell aged about forty four years to be free from the date hereof and I do hereby set free and manumit all the Children that may be born of the above mentioned female Cas before the period of her becoming free the said children shall be free the males when they arive to the age of twenty one years and the females at the age of eighteen years and for the full performance of the several articles & stipulations before mentioned and contained I bind myself my heirs executors and administrators firmly by these presents sealed with my seal ^and signed^ and dated this twenty third day of may one thousand eight hundred and Ten George Dorsey (seal) Witness Beale Warfield Samuel Thomas |
