I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
my seal this fifth day of November 1810

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
on the 5.th day of November 1810 appeared Abel Hill
Jun.r before the subscriber one of the Justices of the
peace for the Ann Arundel County and acknowledged
the above instrument of writing to be his act
and deed and the negro man therein named
to free according to the true intent and meaning
thereof and the act of assembly in such cases
made and provided

    To all whom it may concern.   Be it Known
that I Seth Sweetser of Ann Arundel County in
the State of Maryland for divers good causes
and considerations me thereunto moving as
also for the further sum of five shillings cur^r^ent
money to me paid as also in further consideration
of services done have released from slavery
liberated manumitted and set free and by these
presents do hereby release from slavery liberate
manumitt and set free my negro woman
named Henny being of the age of thirty
years and able to work and gain a
