discharged from all manner of servitude or
service to me my executors or admini.s
forever ^for ever^   In Testimony whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and affixed
my seal this ninth day april in the
year of our lord eighteen hundred
and ten
signed sealed & delivered
in the presence of
Henry Evans                  Joshua Powell   (seal)
       Thomas Robinson

on the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
state of maryland ann arundel county
to wit  on this ninth of april personally
appears Joshua Powell party to the within
instrument of writing before me the subscriber
a Justice of the peace of the state
of maryland for the said county and
acknowledges the same to be his act
and deed for the purpose within mentioned
and the negro man within named
to be henceforth manumitted and
discharged from all service to him
or to any claiming under him
and to be free and manumitted
according to the act of Assembly
in such case made and
provided   acknowledged before
paid Ex.d.d.d               Henry Evans
