persons claiming under me a negro man Slave named Charles now living with my Grandson Benjamin Ogle Junior in Prince Georges County the said negro man to be free on the first day of September next ensuing the date hereof after which day I do hereby for myself and all claiming under me release and discharge the said Charles from Slavery witness my hand and seal this Twenty fourth day of August in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and one Test Jn.o Gibson Anne Ogle (seal) Samuel Ridout On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t Ann Arundel County to wit, August 24.th 1801 Then came before the subscriber a Justice of the peace for the County aforesaid the within mentioned Anne Ogle and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be her act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned acknowledged before me Recorded 28 September 1801 Jn.o Gibson |
