8 Considerations me thereunto moving do hereby Declare free manumit and enfranchise the following negro to wit Jacob about forty six or seven years of age to be free from this day hereby Acknowledging the said Negro Jacob Discharged from all Claim of Service and right of property whatever from me my heirs Executors and Administrators in the manner and form above mentioned As witness my hand and Seal this 19th day of May 1797 Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of J T Shaaff (seal) Allen Quynn Ann Arundel County sct On the 19 day of May 1797 personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid the above named John Thomas Shaaff party to the above Instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his Act and deed and the signature & Seal thereto annexed to be respectively his Acknowledged before Allen Quynn Recorded 19 May 1797
