Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving do free manumit Liberate and enfranchise after the first day of January Anno Domini eighteen hundred and two one Negro Man named Isaac Aged about forty years thereby Acknowledging said Isaac forever Discharged from all Claim of Service and right of property whatsoever from me my heirs Executors Assigns and Administrators of the aforesaid first day of January Anno Domini eighteen hundred and two In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my Seal this twenty sixth of April Anno Domini seventeen hundred and ninety seven Test James Mackubin Abel Hill (Seal) Ann Arundel County sct On the twenty sixth of april Anno Domini seventeen hundred and ninety seven personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid Abel Hill party to the above instrument of writing who Acknowledged said Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed and the Signature and Seal thereunto annexed to be respectively his James Mackubin Recorded 2 May 1797
