now of the City of Annapolis in the said State do hereby manumit Liberate and set free from the fourth day of november in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and fifteen a Certain negro boy called Andrew Pembroke son of a Certain negro woman named Luckey Pembroke In Testimony whereof I have to these presents set and affixed my hand and Seal on this fourth day of november in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred Signed Sealed & Delivered Walter D. Addison (Seal) in the presence of the word fourth being first interlined Samuel Ridout James Mackubin On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t Ann Arundel County to wit Be it remembered that on the 26.th day of nov.r 1800 in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred personally appeared before the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the aforesaid County the above mentioned Walter D. Addison & acknowledged the above Instrument of writing as his Act and Deed according to the purposes therein mentioned James Mackubin Recorded 26 november 1800
