74 On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Vizt Ann Arundel County sct On the 7 Nov.r 1800 Then Came Maison Lock Weems before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed James Mackubin Recorded 8 December 1800
manumit Liberate and set free from the first day of October in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and seven a Certain negro man named Lowther now in my service son of Sarah Bruce In Testimony whereof I have to these presents set & affixed my hand and seal on this 25 day of november eighteen hundred Signed Sealed & Delivered Walter D Addison (Seal) in the presence of Samuel Ridout James Mackubin On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t Ann Arundel County Be it remembered that on the 26.th day of Nov.r 1800 in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred personally appeared before the subscriber one of Justices of the peace for the aforesaid County the above mentioned Walter D Addison & Acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be his Act & Deed according to the purposes therein mentioned Recorded 26 november 1800 James Mackubin |
