Rachel Brewer

negro Sarah
To all whom these presents shall

come Greeting  Know ye that we
James Wharfe and Eleanor his
wife and Rachel Brewer all of the City of Annapolis
and State of Maryland have Discharged manumitted
and set free our Slave negro Sarah she being under
forty five years as witness our hands & seals
this 28th of January 1800

Spencer both of Ann Arundel County
in the State of Maryland do hereby set free from bondage
our negro Man named London Freeland aged about
forty three years and do for ourselves our heirs
Executors and Administrators release unto the said
London Freeland all our right and all claim
whatsoever as to his person or any Estate he may
acquire hereby Declaring the said London Freeland
absolutely free without any interruption from us
or any person or persons whatsoever claiming or
