Seal this twenty fifth day of November one thousand
seven hundred and ninety nine

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t
Ann Arundel County sct  Be it remembered that on the
day and year above written personally appeared before
me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for
the county aforesaid the above written Joshua Toogood
party to the above instrument of writing & acknowledged
the same to be his Act and for the use and purposes
therein contained according to an Act of assembly in
such Case made and provided  Acknowledged before
Recorded 19 December 1799      James Mackubin

 I Elizabeth Mackubin of the City of

Annapolis in the State of Maryland
Do hereby set free from bondage my negro woman
named Flora aged about eight and thirty years
and do for myself my Executors and Administrators
release unto the aforesaid Flora all my right and
all claim whatsoever from the date of these
presents as to her person or to any Estate she may
acquire hereby Declaring the aforesaid Flora absolutely
free without any interruption from me or any person
claiming under me  In witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand & seal this eighteenth day of January in the
year of our Lord eighteen hundred
