release unto the above named Polly and Charles
all my right and all claims whatsoever as to their
person or to any Estate they may acquire  In Witness
whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this
twenty third day of February in the year of our
Lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety
nine

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
Memorandum to wit, On the twenty third day of
February 1799 came Rich.d Hopkins of Ger.d before
me the subscriber and Acknowledge this Instrument
of writing to be his Act and Deed according
to the direction of an Act of assembly in that case
made and provided     taken before

by these presents shall Greeting
I Ann Stinchcomb of Ann Arundel County in the
State of Maryland for divers good Causes and
Considerations me thereunto moving do hereby
Declare free manumit and enfranchise the
negro following to wit, negro Fanny aged fourteen
years to be free at the age of eighteen years she &
her issue forever hereby acknowledging the said
negro discharged from all claim of service and
