                         Anne Arundel County Court  To wit
I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of anne arundel County Court
To wit  Do Certify that it appears by a deed of manumission
from Aquila Edwards bearing date the twenty fourth day of
June in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred
and Eighty Six and recorded among the records of anne
arundel County that Negro Lydia aged about twenty three
years of age to be free at the age of Eighteen after the
date of the manumission.  she is about five feet three
inches high her Complexion black was raised in the County
of anne arundel.  Sarah Edwards of anne arundel County
made oath before Joseph Sands a Justice of the peace
for the County aforesaid that the said Lydia is the
identical person who was mentioned in the said deed
of Manumission
                   Issued the 5th day of may 1807

Hereby certify that it appears by a deed of manumission
executed by Benjamin Drummer of the county aforesaid
bearing date on the twenty seventh day of october in
the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and six and recorded amongst the manumissions
of anne arundel county aforesaid that freedom
was thereby granted unto a negro woman by the
name or Roseetta Drummer stated to be then
of the age of forty four years which said person
