34 Month in the year of our Lord seventeen hundred and ninety nine Sealed & Delivered in presence of Gerd Plummer (Seal) the words interlined between the ninth & tenth lines "he arrives to age of twenty one years interlined before acknowledged John Cowman Thomas Sellman On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Vizt Jan.ry 16 1799 Then Came Gerrard Plummer before me one of the Justices of the peace for A A County and did acknowledge the within Instrument of writing and the freedom therein given to the within named negro agreeable to the times aloted therein to be and remain with him according to the directions of an Act of Assembly in that Case made and provided taken & Acknowledged before me the day & year above written Leod Sellman Record 23 Jany 1799
