State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc.t
       I Nicholas Harwood Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court Do hereby certify that it appears by a deed of
Manumission from William Franklin dated the twenty
fifth day of June in the year of our lord one thousand seven
hundred and Ninety Nine and recorded amongst the records
of Anne Arundel County Court that negro Jane then
of the age of forty years was to be free on the twenty fifth
day of December in the year aforesaid  she is about five
feet three and an half inch high her Complexion very
dark  Benjamin Collison of said County Made oath
before Gideon White a Justice of the peace for
the County aforesaid that the said Negro Jane
is the identical person mentioned in the said deed
of Manumission  she does not appear to have any
Notable Marks
                Issued the 21st day of May 1807

Anne Arundel County Court that negro Sucky then of
the age of Twenty seven years to be free from
the twenty fifth day of December in the year aforesaid
she is about five feet four inches & a half high her
Complexion black  Benjamin Collison of said County
made oath before Gideon White a Justice of the peace for
the County aforesaid that the said negro Sucky is the
identical person mentioned in the said deed of manumission
she appears to be pock mark'd
                               Issd the 21st day of May 1807
