315 on the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed To wit Anne Arundel County To wit on this fifteenth day of June 1807 personally appears Thomas Elms party to the within Instrument of writing before me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland for the said County and acknowledged the same to be his Act and deed for the purpose within mentioned and the negro woman within named together with her Children to be at the periods of time above written manumitted and discharged from all services to him or to any claiming under him and to be free and Manumitted according to the Act of Assembly in Such Cases made and provided Acknowledged Before R G Stockett Recorded the 17th of June 1807 Maryland Sc.t To all whom these presents shall come Greeting. I Wm Weems of annarundel county in the State aforesaid for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving do hereby declare free manumit and enfranchise the following negro to wit.
