30 day of September seventeen hundred and ninety eight Sealed & Delivered in presence of Rich.d Foggatt (Seal) Joseph Evans James A Weems On the back of the foregoing was thus endorsed Viz.t Ann Arundel County sct On the day & year above written came Richard Foggatt before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for the County aforesaid and Acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and the Act of Assembly in such Case made and provided James Mackubin Recorded 28 Sept 1798
Maryland for divers good Causes & Considerations me thereunto moving do hereby Declare free manumit and Infranchise the negroes following to wit negro Lad Peerer aged about sixteen years to be free the third of november eighteen hundred & fifteen a negro Lad named Andrew aged about thirteen years to be free november the third one thousand eight hundred & Eighteen hereby Declaring the said negroes Discharged from all claim of service and right of property whatever from me my heirs Executors Administrators on the date above mentioned as witness my hand & Seal this ninth day of October one thousand seven hundred & ninety eight Signed Sealed & Delivered in presence of Wm T Yieldhall Bryan x Williams (Seal) John Randall (On) |
