29 affixed as aforesaid hereby Declaring the above mentioned negroes absolutely free without any interruption from me or any person claiming under me In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this third day of august one thousand seven hundred and ninety eight Signed Sealed & Delivered Samuel Peaco (Seal) in the presence of Interlineation made before signing On the back of the aforegoing was Jn.o Brice thus endorsed to wit 3.d August 1798 Basil Warfield Then Came Samuel Peaco before me one of the Justices of the peace for Ann Arundel County and Acknowledged the above instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned 3 Jn.o Brice Recorded 8 August 1798
