          Anne Arundel County Sc.t

                      Be it remembered that on this twenty third ^ninth^
day of November in the year of our lord one thousand
eight hundred and five personally appears Smith
Price party to the within instrument of writing before
me the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State
of maryland for the said County and acknowledges the
same to be his Act and deed for the purposes within
mentioned and the negro man within named to be
henceforth manumitted and discharged from all services
to him or to any Claiming under him and to be free and
manumitted according to the Act of assembly in such
Cases made and provided

             This Indenture was made on the fourth day
of January in the year of our lord one thousand eight
hundred and six   Between George Hogarth of Herring
Bay in the County of Anne Arundel and State of Maryland
of the one part and Araminta Harrison of the
same place of the other part.   Whereas the said Araminta
Harrison did on the fourth day of January in the year of
our lord one thousand seven hundred and Ninety Nine
bargain and sell unto the said George Hogarth
