239 moving do hereby free manumit and Enfranchise the following Negroes to wit Solomon aged seven years the eighth day of November last to be free at the age of twenty five William aged four years the Eighth day of December last to be free at the age of twenty nine John Emberson aged two years the Eighth of December last to be free at the age of twenty five Richard aged Six months from this date to be free at the age of twenty five Jenny sold manumitted by Richard and Margaret Roberts of Calvert County and to be free next January twelve months and as their was no provision made for her increase should she have any Children during the time above limitted the Males shall be free at the age of twenty five & the females at the age twenty one and in this manner & form their Childrens Children are to be free to the last Generation also one Negroe man George mace to be free the twenty sixth of September Eighteen hundred & seven one negroe man also called George to be free the twenty sixth of march Eighteen hundred and sixteen one negroe woman mint to be free next January three years & should she the said negroe mint have any increase the Males to be free at the age of twenty five years & the females at the age of twenty one years I hereby Acknowledge the said negroes discharged from all Claims or Service and right of property whatever (from) |
