Examined
    State of Maryland Ann Arundel
County Sc.t   I Zachariah Duvall Junior by these
presents do liberate from bondage my negro man
named William Watkins after the Expiration of the year
Eighteen hundred and fifteen from me my heirs administrators
and Assigns or any other person or
persons Claiming under me
                                  In Witness whereof I have
hereunto set my hand and seal the second day of
September 1805

             H H Harwood        Zachariah Duvall Junr   (seal)

On the back of the foregoing was thus Endorsed to wit
September 2nd 1805
                                     Then Came Zachariah Duvall

Junior before me the subscriber one of the Justices of
the peace for Anne Arundel County and acknowledged
the above manumission to be his Act & deed
the day and date above
                                     Given under my hand
and seal
                               Richard Merriken
Recorded 6th of September 1805
