235 the said Negro man George Martin as aforesaid free and forever discharged from all Claim of service right or property whatsoever from me or claiming under me my heirs Executors administrators or assigns from and after the date hereof as specefied in the aforegoing manumition In Testimony whereof I have set my hand and affixed my seal this nineteenth day of August in the year of our lord Eighteen hundred and five Signed sealed and delivered In the presence of M. Hesselius (seal) Jno Brice Nicholas Charles Carroll On the back of the aforegoing was thus Endorsed Viz.t On the nineteenth day of August Eighteen hundred and five personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for Anne Arundel County Mary Hesselius party to the within Instrument of writing who Acknowledged the same to be her act and deed and the signature & seal thereunto annexed to be Respectively hers Jno Brice Recorded 19th day of Augt 1805 Examd d.d State of Maryland Sc.t To all whom these presents shall Come Greeting I Henry Childs of Anne Arundel County in the State aforesaid for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving do (hereby) |
