a woman and Phillis and Rachel Girls and I do
hereby renounce and release all claim whatever to
them and each and every of them Given under my
hand and Seal this tenth day of March seventeen
hundred and ninety eight

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Vizt
Maryland sc.t on the tenth day of March 1798 Came
Eleanor Hall party to the aforegoing Instrument of
writing and Acknowledged the same to be her Act
and Deed before me one of the Judges of the
General Court

Maryland sct.  Whereas I

Randolph Brandt Latimer
purchased a negro man by the Name of Ben
of Rezin Davidge Administrator of M.rs Onner
Wilkins late of the City of Annapolis Deceased for
a Term of years that is to say the said negro Man
Ben to be free when he arrives at the Age of
thirty one years as reference to the bill of sale
from Rezin Davidge Adm.r as aforesaid to me
bearing date on or about the twenty fourth day
of January one thousand seven hundred & ninety
five and recorded among the Land records of
