    In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my
hand and affixed my seal this twenty seventh day of
April in the year of our lord one thousand eight hundred
and five
Signed Sealed and delivered
in the presence of
NB.   The words "of Charles County"
in the third line from the top of              R B Latimer   (seal)

                                                           was thus endorsed Viz.t

Received the sum of one dollar Current money of the United
states on the day of the date hereof it being the Consideration
money mentioned in the foregoing Instrument of writing

Be it remembered that on this twenty seventh day of April
personally appeared Randolph Brandt Latimer party to the
foregoing instrument of writing before me the subscriber a
Justice of the peace for the state of maryland for the
said County and acknowledged the same to be his act and
deed for the purposes therein mentioned & the negro man &
woman therein mentioned to be hereafter manumitted & discharged
from all Services to him or any one Claiming under him agreeably to
the terms therein mentioned & to be free & manumitted according to the
act of Assembly in such Cases made & provided

Recorded the 31st July 1805
