(220) man named David I do declare to be henceforth free manumitted and discharged from all manner of Servitude or Service to me my Executors or administrators for ever In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & affixed my Seal this 27th day of February in the year of our Lord 1805 Signed sealed & delivered In the presence of James Mackubin Anne Rawlings (seal) Tho.s Franklin On the back of the aforegoing was thus Endorsed to wit Recorded on the day of the date above mentioned the Sum of Five shillings Current money it being the full Consideration money above mentioned Witness James Mackubin Anne Rawlings Anne Arundel County Sct Be it remembered that on this 21st day of February personally appears Ann Rawlings party to the above instrument of writing before me the Subscriber a Justice of the peace of the State of maryland for said County and Acknowledged the Same to be her Act and Deed for the purposes above mentioned and the negro man above named to be henceforth manumitted and discharged from services to her or to any claiming under her and to be free manumitted according to the Act of Assembly in Such Cases made & provided Acknowledged before Recorded 27th of February 1805 James Mackubin |
