the Males untill they are 25 years old and the
Females untill they are 21 years old.   As Witness
my hand and seal this eight day of September
Eighteen hundred and Three
Signed Sealed & acknowledged
    In the presents of                David Weems   (seal)

    Sophia Weems

On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t
Ann Arundell County Septr 8.th 1803  Then came David
Weems before me one of the Justices of the peace
for the county aforesaid and acknowledged the
above to be his act and deed according to the
intent and meaning thereof
                                     Tho.s Tongue
Recorded the 2.nd day of November 1803

County  To Wit  Know all men
by these presents that I have
Manumitted discharged and set free and do hereby
manumit discharge and set free negro Grace
and her child Charles formerly my property

hand and seal this third day of December in
the year of our lord one thousand Eight hundred
and Three
