145 twelve OClock personally appeared before me the subscriber and acknowledged the within instrument of writing to be his act and deed Jany 28 1803 N. Gaither Recorded 15th June 1803 Ex.d Know all men by these presents That I John Brice of the City of Annapolis do by these presents manumitt and set free my negroe man named Will Frost from Slavery and from all future claim of service from me or my heirs In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 5.th day of July Anno Domini 1803 Test Jn.o Brice (seal) Francis T. Clements David Kerr On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t Ann Arundel County Sc.t June 5.th 1803 John Brice personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for the County afs.d and did acknowledge the above instrument of writing to be his act and deed agreeably to an act of assembly in such case made and provided Lewis Duvall Recorded 6th day of July 1803 Maryland fs.t To all whom these presents shall come Greeting I Richard Weems of Anne Arundel |
