On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed to wit
A A County fs.t  On the fifteenth day of April
Eighteen hundred and Three appeared before
me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace
for the County aforesaid Walter Harrison party
to the above instrument of writing who
acknowledged the said instrument to be his
act and deed and the signature and seal
thereunto annexed to be respectively his
according to the true intent and meaning of the
same

State of Maryland  Know all men by these
presents that I Samuel Ridout do hereby
manumit and discharge from my service
and from the service of all persons claiming
under me a certain negro man called
William Bush whom I purchased in the
year 1799 of John Addison Esquire of Prince
Georges County for a term of years the
said William Bush to be free
from the date of these presents
As witness my hand and seal this
second day of May in the year
