A. County Sc.t On the eleventh day of February 1803 came John Welch before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace for the County aff.d and acknowledged the above Instrument of writing to be his Act and Deed Jn.o Brice Recorded the 11.th February 1803 Maryland sc.t To all whom these presents shall come greeting. I Leonard Garey of Anne Arundel County in the State of Maryland for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving do hereby declare free manumit and enfranchise the negro following To wit Frederick aged about Thirty Eight years to be free on the tenth day of December next hereby acknowledging the said negro Frederick discharged from all claim of service and right of property whatever from me my heirs executors and administrators in the manner and form above mentioned viz |
