125 one thousand Eight hundred and Ten as also the Issue born of her are to be free after 1800 In witness whereunto I have this 11 September 1802 set my hand and affixed my seal In the presents of Henry Hall Dorsey Rachel Stansbury (seal) Aquila Pumphrey On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t On the 11th September 1802 Came Rachel Stansbury before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for Anne Arundel County and acknowledged the within Instrument of writing to be her act and deed Henry Hall Dorsey Recorded 25th September 1802 I Mary Records of Anne Arundel County and State of Maryland do hereby liberate from bondage my negro man Jack at the expiration of four years which Time expirs the first day of September one thousand Eight hundred and five all my right title and claim whatsoever hereby declaring the said Jack absolutely free at the time above specified from me or any person or persons claiming under me. In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal this first day of may in the year of our lord one Thousand Eight hundred and two Signed Sealed her In the presents of Mary + Records Richard Merriken mark Henry Duvall On the back of the aforegoing was thus endorsed Viz.t |
