10 motion and in Conformity to a promise long since made by me and my wife lately Deceased to negro Sibb the mother of the following negroes to me belonging Viz.t Charles, Benjamin, Henry or Henrietta Sall or Sarah, Jack or John, Bett or Elizabeth, Beck or Rebecca Do hereby manumit set free and forever Discharge from my Service the said Negroes from and after the following respective times the said Charles time of freedom to Commence on the first day of January eighteen hundred the said Benjamin time of freedom to Commence on the first day of January eighteen hundred and six the said Henry time of freedom to Commence from the first day of January eighteen hundred and eight the said Sall's time of freedom to Commence on the first day of January eighteen hundred and thirteen the said Jacks time of freedom to Commence the first day of January eighteen hundred and sixteen the said Betes time of freedom to Commence the first day of January eighteen hundred and eighteen the said Beck to be free from the dated of these presents that is to say, it is my will & the intent of these presents that the said Negroes shall serve me or my assigns or representatives and be considered as my Slaves untill the periods respectively before mentioned except the said Beck who is to be free from this day and that from and after the said respective periods they shall be free to all intents & purposes any Act which I may hereafter do to the |
