Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1831-1844

proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof
named Gassaway Taylor aged about twenty four
years about five feet nine and three quarter inches high
yellow Complexion has a small scar on the middle finger
of the left hand an don eon each of the Little fingers
and one on the left side of the neck was free born
and that he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 19th day of October 1844

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne
Arundel County Court do hereby Certify that it
hath been proved to my satisfaction that the
Bearer hereof named Charles Boston aged
about twenty two years about five feet
seven and three quarter inches high dark
Complexion has no perceptible marks was
free born and that he was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 26th day of Oct.r 1844


Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit    I William S Green
Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court do hereby Certify that
it hath been proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof
named Hester Matthews aged about thirty one years
about five feet two inches high dark Complexion has
a scar on the fore finger of the left hand is the identical
person manumitted by Eleanor Woodward by deed dated
the twenty ninth day of may in the year Eighteen
hundred and thirty two and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 30.th day of October 1844
