Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1831-1844

Griffith by deed dated the ninth day of September in the
year one thousand Eight hundred and Eighteen and that
he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 24 day of February 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Frances Blunt
aged about twenty two years about five feet seven and
a half inches high brown Complexion has no perceptible
marks was free born and that he was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 8th day of march 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to
my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named David
Blunt aged about twenty seven years about five feet
Eight and an half Inches high brown Complexion has
a scar on the end of the third finger of the left hand
was free born, and that he was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 8 day of march 1843


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Vachel Gibson
aged about twenty years about five five and an half
Inches high dark Complexion has a scar on the left side
of the neck is one of the persons manumitted by Richard
Snowden by deed dated the sixth day of January in
the year one thousand Eight hundred and twenty five
and that he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 15 day of march 1843
