Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1831-1844

County Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved
to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Cato Praver
aged about twenty one years about five feet nine Inches
high dark Complexion has a small scar on the left cheek
and the nose was free born and that he was raised in
the County aforesaid
    Issued the 13 day of September 1841


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit    I William
S Green Clerk of Anne Arundel County Court
do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the Bearer hereof named Mary
Ann Queen aged about Eighteen years about
four feet Eleven and a half inches high dark
Complexion has a small scar in the Corner
of the left eye, and two small Scars on the
right left hand was free born and that
he was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 28th day of Sept.r 1841


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Mary Johnson
aged about twenty nine years about four feet ten inches high
light Complexion has a small scar on the left side of the
neck and two small moles on the right side of the face was
free born and that she was raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 29 day of September 1841


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Ann Janetta
