Anne Arundel County Court Certificates of Freedom, 1831-1844

Harris aged about seventeen years about four feet Eight
and a half Inches high light Complexion has a flesh
mark on the right shoulder and a small mole under the
left eye was free born and that she was raised in the
County aforesaid
    Issued the 2d day of October 1841


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
County Court do hereby Certify that it hath
been proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer
hereof named Haing Heavion aged about thirty
Eight years about five feet four inches high yellow
Complexion has no perceptible marks is one of
the persons manumitted by Saml Heavion by deed
dated the twelfth day of January in the year
Eighteen hundred and thirty Eight and that she was
raised in the County aforesaid
    Issued the 7th day of October 1841


    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel County
Court do hereby Certify that it hath been proved to my
satisfaction that the bearer hereof named Peter
Johnson aged about twenty two years about five
feet five and a half Inches Inches high, black Complexion
has a small scar on the back of the neck and
several small scars on the back of the left hand was
free born and that she was raised in the County
aforesaid
    Issued the 9 day of October 1841

    Maryland Anne Arundel County to wit
              I William S Green, Clerk of Anne Arundel
                                                                        County
