mark or scar was free born; and that the said negro
man named Charles Barnes was raised in the County
aforesaid
       Issued the 16.th March 1816


State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc
        I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may
concern that it hath been proved to my satisfaction
that the bearer hereof a mulatto man named
Edward Boothe aged about twenty two years
about five feet ten inches high of a light complexion
no perceptible mark or scar is the same person
manumitted by Edward Boothe by deed dated
the nineteenth day of March in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixteen
and that the said Edward Boothe was raised
in the County aforesaid
Issued the 20.th day of March 1816


State of Maryland Anne Arundel County Sc.
        I hereby certify to all whom it doth or may concern
that it hath been proved to my satisfaction that
the bearer hereof a negro man named George
aged about thirty three years about five feet nine
and an half inches high of a brown complexion
with a small scar upon the forehead just above
the right eye is the same person manumitted by
John Norwood by deed dated the seventh day
of March in the year eighteen hundred and three
and that the said negro man George was raised
in the County aforesaid
Issued the 26th day of March 1816
